History

In 1990, IGTYF and IOGT merged to IOGT-International, while the European member organizations of IGTYF founded a regional body within IOGT-International – the »European Good Templar Youth Federation« (EGTYF). So the last IGTYF Camp became the first EGTYF Camp:

    * 1990: Copenhagen (Denmark)
    * 1992: Turku/Åbo (Finland)
    * 1994: Berlin (Germany)
    * 1996: Tórshavn (Faroe Islands)

With the rising power of new member organizations in Eastern Europe, EGTYF was able to organize the summer camps annually, still having the congresses in the even years. Since 1997 camps took place in:

    * 1997: Latvia/Lithuania
    * 1998: Östersund (Sweden)
    * 1999: Tatranska Lomnica (Slovakia)
    * 2000: Fiesch (Switzerland)
    * 2001: Ähijärvi (Estonia)
    * 2002: Botnhamn (Norway)
    * 2002: Eastbourne (UK, extra-ordinary congress without camp)
    * 2003: Kaunas (Lithuania)
    * 2004: Bystra (Slovakia)
    * 2005: Altthymen (Germany)
    * 2006: Münchenstein/Basle (Switzerland)

In 2006 EGTYF changed its name into »ACTIVE – Sobriety, Friendship, Peace«, making the last EGTYF Camp becoming the first ACTIVE Camp.

    * 2006: Münchenstein/Basle (Switzerland)
    * 2007: Semkovo (Bulgaria)
    * 2008: Ransberg (Sweden)
    * 2009: Vlorë (Albania)
    * 2010: Fredrikstad (Norway)
    * 2011: Riga (Latvia)
    * 2012: Úlfljótsvatn (Iceland)
